Midcoast Maine Community Action
Midcoast Maine Community Action is a community action organization advocating on behalf of low-income and other at-risk individuals, assisting them to identify and address their needs, enabling them to achieve self sufficiency and independence. MMCA actively promotes economic and community development of the business and communities in the mid-coast area where individuals and families reside.
WIC Nutrition
Women, Infants & Children Nutrition is a supplemental food and nutrition education program for women and children.
Head Start
Early Head Start & Head Start provide comprehensive education, health, nutrition, and parent involvement services.
Family Development
A comprehensive range of activities to assist participating families to achieve self-sufficiency goals through coordinated access to community services and on-going case management support.
Families CAN!
Providing information on child abuse and neglect, as well as prevention. Family education and support groups are offered to single parents, new mothers, teen mothers, and guardians.
Heat & Utilities
We offer a variety of heating assistance options to help you during the cold Maine winter months.
